Today the Ennis Mustangs won the Montana State Class C High School Football Championship against a very tough Wibaux Longhorns team. The game was a thriller, nailbiter… going down to the very end. Everybody in town was there at the field in Ennis…the place was packed. The Wibaux QB was a big tall kid who could fling the ball a mile. They had size and speed but the Ennis kids had a little more heart and a whole lot of courage and came out on top by score of 68-56.

    I saw people at the game that I have known for 30 years and all age groups…we all had the same feeling of pride for the kids on the team and the town we live in. To all the players, coaches, parents and fans…
